Summer’s better at The Pool!
The Athens Pool is a non-profit community swimming pool founded in 1969 by a group of local families. It provides recreation, health, fun, community, and personal growth in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Located in the beautiful village of Athens, membership is open to all and includes those from many surrounding communities. Independent of the local municipality it relies on the support of members and the generosity of donors.
Our facility boasts two pools and a small snack bar and is staffed by Red Cross-certified lifeguards.
The season runs from the last Saturday in June thru Labor Day and the pool is open 10am-7pm every day, weather permitting. Lap Swim is 10am-12pm daily.
Guests are permitted to use the pool for a daily fee (limited to 5 per season). Wednesdays are members-only days.
